Workshops at Broken R Ranch

All of our workshops are limited to 6 participants.  We strive to provide each participant and horse partner the time and attention that will allow them to make important strides at an affordable price. 

Michael will work with each horse and person individually as well as in a group.  Each participant and horse partner bring a unique set of experiences and skills to the group.  As Michael works with each person and horse, he will provide insight to the other participants that will help them in their development. 

Although each workshop is tailored to the needs of the participants, they will follow a general format of working at liberty, then halter and lead, and under saddle.
 
We offer both 2-day and 5-day workshops. 
  
You may bring your horse or we can provide a horse for you.  Horse rental per day is $50.
 
We have stalls available for those who would like to keep their horse at the ranch.
    ○ Stall Rental: $20 per day, you provide the grain and hay
    ○ Stall Rental: $10 per day, you provide the grain, hay, shavings and you clean the stall.
 
The Price:

2-Day Workshop  $550, plus stall.  Application form.  If you are a participant who would like to bring more than one horse, each additional horse will be $500.

5-Day Workshop  $1300, plus stall.  Application form. If you are a participant who would like to bring more than one horse, each additional horse will be $1100.

A 50% non-refundable down payment is due 60 days prior to the workshop to reserve your spot.  Final payment is due two weeks prior to the event.

Private Intensive Experiences at Broken R Ranch

For those participants who would like to have a more personal and private experience that is focused solely on their needs and their horse’s needs we offer one- and two-day private intensive experiences.  You and your horse will work with Michael on specific issue that you would like to address, as well as understanding how to successfully apply his Steps To Softness©.

A one-day private intensive is $450.  Application form.  If you are a participant who would like to bring more than one horse, each additional horse will be $350.  If you would like to use a horse from Broken R Ranch the price is $50 per day.

A two-day private intensive is $800.  Application form.  If you are a participant who would like to bring more than one horse, each additional horse will be $700.  If you would like to use a horse from Broken R Ranch the price is $50 per day.

Private lessons are available at Broken R Ranch for $100 per hour. 
 
Workshops on the Road

Workshops on the road offer participants an opportunity to work with Michael at their location.  Michael offers his 2-day workshop for a maximum of 6 participants.  The barn or facility will work directly with Michael to tailor the workshop to the needs of the participants and we work with all breeds and all disciplines.  The total cost is $3600.  Michael will make himself available for private lessons as well for $125 per hour.
